Su Yansheng, Curator, Director and Professor of the Department of Painting, Fine Art School, Shanghai Normal University. The cultural construction of the digital age has brought about rapid changes in contemporary art. Printmaking corresponds to digital media and the benefits from new technologies and diversity of production. Under the impact and influence of new media, print artists may apply technology to search for new visual symbols, by maintaining the original language to achieve a balance between the process of change and conservation.
